De Kinderombudsman komt niet alleen op voor de rechten van kinderen maar ook voor zijn eigen huisstijl. Heel bewust koos hij voor een heldere en Nederlandse uitstraling (niet alleen in kleur) met grote herkenbaarheid. Binnen de huisstijl spelen het gebouw van de Kinderombudsman en zinnetjes als ‘U hoort nog van wij’ en ‘Wij laten van je horen’ een duidelijke rol. We bedachten, geheel in de geest van jongeren, deze tagline en alle overige copy.

Nederland werd door de VN op de vingers getikt voor het nog altijd ontbreken van een Kinderombudsman. Marc Dullaert werd in april 2011 beëdigd door de Tweede Kamer als allereerste Kinderombudsman en liet afgelopen jaar al meerdere malen van zich horen. De Kinderombudsman controleert en adviseert het parlement en organisaties en maakt mensen bewust van de kinderrechten. Op die manier verbetert hij de positie van kinderen en jongeren in Nederland.

We bedachten de naam en maakten een logo voor De Nieuwe Kleren van de Wolf. Zij richten zich op verandertrajecten voor onderzoekers en professionals en doet dat op, jawel, verfrissende wijze. Rest van de huisstijl in ontwikkeling.

Kaliber Film

Businesscards for Kaliber Film, a company consisting of two talented filmmakers from Rotterdam. Kaliber Film develops and produces original narrative author driven productions with no distinction between fiction and documentary form and (co-)produces feature films, creative documentaries and shorts for Dutch, European and international audiences.

Kaliber Film productions have screened at international film festivals such as Locarno, Toronto, Rotterdam, London, Warsaw, Seattle and Berlin among others.

Pingo

Pingo is a Dutch company that provides advice and assistance in designing and implementing nature- and landscaping projects and the preparation of projects to provide funding. Pingo works for (local) government(s), environmental organizations and educational clients. Logo as a reference to a Pingo and a metaphor for creating something that didn’t exist previously, from the ground up literally. Colour (patches) based on Dutch landscape with typical 1/3 land vs 2/3 sky.

A pingo, also called a hydrolaccolith, is a mound of earth-covered ice found in the Arctic and subarctic that can reach up to 70 metres (230 ft) in height and up to 600 m (2,000 ft) in diameter. The term originated as the Inuvialuktun word for a small hill. (Wikipedia)

Identity, brochure, chocolate, t-shirt* and advent calendar for De Kwartiermakers, a new company specialized in launching new organisations, reorganizations and merging (semi-) governmental and public organisations. Short and witty texts are ‘hidden’ and woven into the identity to define the characteristics of De Kwartiermakers. Also designed a coding system for notification of the many different phases that are possible. *Process blue with black/blue, spot-varnish, embossed card and letterhead.

* Roekieloos® is a custom built word for De Kwartiermakers by I don’t buy it.

For a new cafe-restaurant in Amsterdam (Entrepotdok, former restricted customs area) we came up with the concept of branding an imaginative product from history: Paerz. *Logo, businesscards, lightbox exterior, promotional cards, 70 m2 wall-illustration and some lasercut menu’s from bamboo.
